Andrea Z. Roth, Ph.D. Art History

European/American Paintings & Sculpture
ASA Andrea has been in the art field for close to 25 years as an academic, gallery administrator and art appraiser. She is Roth Fine Art Appraisals' principal appraiser and supervises all appraisal functions at the company. She specializes in European and American paintings and sculpture and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), American Society of Appraisers. Prior to founding Roth Fine Art Appraisals, Andrea taught Art History at UC Davis, UC Riverside and Santa Clara University. She worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust Art History Information Program and was Assistant Editor of the Art Bulletin. As a Fulbright Scholar she studied Northern Italian Renaissance Art History while living in Italy. Andrea currently serves on the Board of Directors of St. Mary's College Art Museum and lectures on art collecting and valuation for insurance professionals, estate planners, attorneys and collectors.

Jennifer M. Wood, M.A. Art History

European/American Antiques & Decorative Arts
ASA Jennifer manages the antiques and decorative arts practice at Roth Fine Art Appraisals. She has been an appraiser for over ten years and is an Accredited Member (AM), American Society of Appraisers. She received her M.A. in Art History from USC and a Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts from UC Irvine. She is a graduate of the Attingham School for the Study of Historic Houses and Collections in England, the Attingham Study Programme in Scotland, the Victorian Society School in London, and the Winter and Fall Institutes in American decorative arts at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware. Prior to her appraisal career, Jennifer was with the J. Paul Getty Trust working on a variety of projects including: The Getty Provenance Index, The Collectors Files of the Getty Research Institute, The Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names and the Union List of Artist Names.

Anthony is Roth Fine Art Appraisals' senior research analyst covering the art market and compliance oversight. He advises clients on a wide range of topics related to their collections and the art market. He is also co-founder of the company. Prior to co-founding Roth Fine Art Appraisals, Anthony was a product management and strategy executive at both large and small software companies including Oracle. He received an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
